carbs really can hurt

I've always seen cartoons and sitcoms where someone serves some bread and it's as 'hard as a rock.' I never thought people would actually keep bread around long enough for that to happen, but supposedly some people[ :\ ] do!

Earlier today, I was loading the dishwasher when I heard a loud 'thump' sound from the pantry. I even felt the vibes on the floor where I was standing. I checked out the pantry and noticed that a loaf of french bread had fallen from a few shelves above. When I took the bread out of the bag, it was rock solid! I mean, not even a soft spot on the underside of the loaf. This thing could be dangerous in the wrong hands, so I tossed the weapon out after we had a bit of fun with it.
